The Baynesfield Dirtfest Funduro takes place on Sunday 14th Feb 2016! Yes it’s Valentines Day, but it will be a fantastic family day out. Who needs romance when you can have this much fun!?!

Event Description:
Baynesfield Dirtfest
Dirtbikes only, sorry no Quads!
35km main loop with technical options and shortcuts. Novice loop is 21km with options to join main loop. Also a separate kiddies loop aimed at PeeWee 50’s etc, a dirt track around soya and mielie fields.
Route consists of haulage tracks, lots of forest paths, some nice drops and climbs, a nice long rocky downhill (not too difficult, bit of concentration needed), a good steep little climb with a bypass if needed and some nice fast open bits.
This is a FULL ON FAMILY DAY for everybody! Jumping castles, swimming pool, jungle gyms, tennis courts to ride bicycles on, HUGE grassy bits to roll around on and of course the legendary Baynesfield club with outstanding home made food and plenty to drink from the famous Baynesfield Pub!

The ride is in memory of a very good mate of ours, Kevin Imeson who was killed by a hit and run driver on his way back from a ride in Toti last Sunday. Kevin wasn’t the “one minute’s silence” type so we’d rather have a quick throttle wind-up before the start, we’re hoping for a real good crowd (we had close to 700 last year) so it should sound quite good!
