Event Description:
Groeneweide Funduro
This is a charity fundraising event in aid of of Huis Groeneweide Old Age Home in Darling.
The event is being held at the Elsana Quarry, Malmesbury, a popular venue for Funduro events.
The route is mainly sand with a number of ramps amongst Port Jackson scrubs and muddy patches! The circuit is short at approx. 15km and can be ridden as many times as you like. There is also a mini circuit for the kids. Protective clothing must be worn.
Come and enjoy a family day out. Bring own chairs, shade, drinking water and enough fuel to have a blast!
Cafeteria available offering: Coffee/Tea, Pancakes, Hamburgers, Sausage rolls & cool drinks
How To Enter
Pre-registration is not required for this event. You may register and pay on the day.
Elsana Quarry is about 12km from Malmesbury and 20km from Darling on the Darling road (R315). Enter at the Elsana Quarry gate.

This is a short and mainly sandy track, nothing too technical. A good ride on which to stretch your legs. Also good for beginners and kids.
