Event Description:
Hermannsburg Funduro
This is an event that has come to our notice at the last minute. There is very little information available, but this is what we know:
This is a fun ride to raise funds for the Hermannsburg School in Hermannsburg KZN. The main loops is a healthy 42km and includes technical sections as well as alternative routes.
Food and drink will be available at the event.

How to Enter
Arrive on the day and pay. No need to pre-register.
Directions
Hermannsburg can be approached either on the R74 from Stanger or Greytown, or on the R33 from Pietermaritzburg or Dundee. For those approaching from Pietermaritzburg, the P160 short–cut allows one to avoid the extra distance entailed by going through Greytown. Look out for the turn–off when you see the huge grain silos to the East of the R33.
The P160 is a fairly good tar road, joining the R74 from Greytown at Welgegund petrol station, where you turn right towards Ahrens and Kranskop. The Hermannsburg turn to the right is clearly signposted – turn right onto the P305 at the crossroads by the piggery and then left onto the D469, which ends at the school.
