Event Description:
Tierhoek Funduro 2018
Come and enjoy a family day out in the beautiful Piekenierskloof mountains. Tierhoek,is a distinguished farm of beauty and diversity. Situated high in the peaks (760m) of the Piekenierskloof Mountain, just on the border of the Cederberg.
This will be a Technical Funduro and majority of the route is “Red”. The loop consist of DRY riverbeds, hill-climbs and loads of ROCK. The track is more technical that your average Funduro with loads of obstacles along the way. There’s some awesome uphill climbs combined with dry river beds, step-ups and loads of Rocks. This will be the perfect preparation event for the upcoming races.
Weekend riders are welcome to take the easier Orange loop. Don’t let the 20km loop fool you, the entire loop will take you roughly 1h45min+
Spectators are invited to a R30 wine tasting while we wait for the adrenaline junkies to return.
The loop can be rode as many times as you like as the track will remain open till 3pm.
Please note that this is a Fun Ride and that no competitor licenses or club memberships are needed.
Cash facilities only. The lucky draw promises to deliver amazing giveaways.

We have not ridden this event yet although we have ridden at the Swartbergsvlei farm. There is enough varied terrain to make the event interesting.
