Twin Oaks Funduro 2018
This is a brand new event for 2018, so please come along and show support for one of the few events in the Free State. Ride through the beautiful Eastern Free State as well as alongside the Lesotho border.
There will be three loops: a 25km loop (one round of the 25km loop) for all U/14 riders. For the ladies there will be a 50km loop (2 rounds of the 25km loop) and for the men there will be a 75km loop (three rounds of the 25km loop).
The riding terrain consists of gravel farm road, rocky uphills and downhills, soft river and some nice open areas to clean the carbs and get air through those radiators. However please remember that we have scaled the loop in terms of technicality as we want everyone to be able to come and enjoy the day, no matter your skill level. Technical sections are also included.
The Funduro is part of the Twin Oaks Festival (www.twin-oaks.co.za) during the weekend of 21 – 22 September so there will be loads to do afterwards, ie. stalls, beer garden, live entertainment by well-known South African Artists, kiddies entertainment and much more.
