Event Description:
This is always a very exciting and interesting fun ride. Those that have been there before will know that it is one of the more technical rides. This ride is great for building some tech skills.
The 10km 4×4 loop they have will be the main loop with more technical sections running out of it. Both of which are marked with different colors. Medium to very technical.
The intermediate loop will consist of many up and downhills, off camber etc. Mostly hard pack but a bit of rocks as well.
Do as many laps as you want or can in the allowed time. Unfortunately no quads this time sorry guys.

Food and drinks available. Lots of shade and braai areas so feel free to use it. Food and drinks will be available and shaded braai areas with toilets. There will also be a Medic on site.
How To Enter
Pre-registration is not required for this event. You may register and pay on the day.
From Cape Town on the N1
The event takes places just outside Stellenbosch. On the Bottelary Road take Steneveld Road turn-off and follow the Welgelegen signs. There will be orange stickers at the turn in.

We rode this event a couple of years ago and remember it as a short but quite technical ride, mainly single tracks in amongst a lot of trees and other obstacles. There were some interesting climbs over tree roots. We rode the loop several times and enjoyed it.
