Event Description:
West Coast Fun Ride
The West Coast Funduro will be for Bikes, Quads & 4x4s on the 11th of March 2017 at Blomfontein, 9.5km outside Vredenburg, in the direction of Hopefield.
Registrations will start at 07h00, briefing at 09h30 and the enduro starts at 10h00.The track will be a ± 65 km loop, through the surrounding farms. This comprises two different loops of approx. 37km and 27km each. The start and halway stop are the same place. Not very technical, but NOT a walk in the park.
Route is child friendly, meaning that we have escape routes where it gets tough.
Cost: R200 Rider; R100 Child (< 16 yrs.); R100 Lift
KixX (Andre Meelslang), Amoré Rudman and Easybeats will be at the start/halfway/end to entertain the spectators. Lots of lucky draw prizes at the end. Refreshments for the riders at the the halfway mark. A cash bar will also be available and some food to buy at the venue.

Vredenburg High School Old Scholar Association arranges the West Coast Funduro, in partnership of the local business to help raising funds for the school.Vredenburg High School Old Scholar League is the convening body of former pupils, teachers and supporters of the Vredenburg High School. It is the aim of the Bond to serve and promote the interests of this tradition-rich school, off almost over a century, and to honor the training institution it is today. Furthermore, the quest off the League is to tie between pupils, parents and supporters of (former) students of the school and to build on it.
The League, which is autonomous, has a complete constitution, members register and annual program.

This is a fast and mainly sandy track, nothing too technical. A good ride on which to stretch your legs. Also good for beginners and kids.
