Event Description:
Swartbergsvlei Funduro
Come and enjoy a family day out in the West Coast with a great all round view of the event. Spectators and riders will be treated to an obstacle course at the starting line up.
The event is held at Swartbergsvlei 4 x 4, situated on the beautiful West Coast route, a convenient 80km’s from Cape Town.
This year our track will be a little different. We will have a 25km offroad sandy track for the quads and then a 25km Enduro track for bikes. The Enduro track will also be split to more technical sections for the extreme red sections that will definately keep you on your toes. Riders will have the opportunity to test their riding skills, ability and technique.
You will also be treated to an obstacle course at the start with excellent spectator view points. A kiddies track is clearly marked with the Bash team assisting them to allow mom and dad the opportunity to enjoy the other loops.
Please note that this is a Fun Ride and that no competitor licenses or club memberships are needed.
There will be food for sale from the on-site kitchen and drinks at the bar. Cash facilities only.
Adriaan Krause will entertain the non riders in the barn with some live music, we will also have braaipacks on sale and the fires will be burning all day.
The lucky draw promises to deliver amazing giveaways.

Swartbergsvlei 4×4 is situated on the West Coast Road (R27), 12km from Yzerfontein crossing, direction Langebaan.
Clear event markings will be displayed on the West Coast Road (event next to Buffelsfontein Game reserve)

We have not ridden this event yet although we have ridden at the Swartbergsvlei farm. There is enough varied terrain to make the event interesting.
